## Participants

### Noam Gorbat

Noam Gorbat is a video artist and filmmaker based in Berlin, working at the intersection of performance art and documentary film. Their practice brings together intersectional perspectives and feminist narrative forms. The short film “Underscore*” received an award at BIFF in 2024. Noam has worked, among others, with Florentina Holzinger, Gob Squad, Ian Kaler, B A G collective, Jasmin İhraç and Roni Katz.

### Omar Nicolas

Omar Nicolas is an artist, curator, designer and music producer based in Berlin. Their multimedia practice combines artistic research with pop culture and socially critical questions. Omar co‑founded Fehras Publishing Practices. Their work has been shown at, among other venues, documenta 15, HKW Berlin, the Sharjah Biennial and EMST Athens. Since 2019, Omar has been developing the music project “OMAR KTD”.

### Sama Ahmadi

Sama Ahmadi is a cultural worker and spatial strategist based in Berlin. Born in Tehran, their artistic practice is shaped by experiences of displacement and political violence. After studying fine art at Université Paris 8 with a focus on memory and trauma, Sama works scenographically with light, colour and space. Their practice is rooted in self‑organised contexts and is committed to transnational solidarity and collaborative structures.

### DJ sherryaeri

Music and partying are deeply political for sherryaeri, who strives to spotlight artists and genres that deserve far more recognition than they typically receive—blending them with Arabic sounds. Identifying as *genrefluid*, sherryaeri guides us through a rich tapestry of styles, including (but not limited to) Rap Edits, Jersey Club, Baile Funk, and Electro Chaabi.
Through this eclectic mix, sherryaeri creates a sense of belonging and celebrates our multidimensional realities. Their sets have already captivated international audiences—from festivals like Splash in Germany, to clubs such as Yu Yu in Mexico City, and prestigious platforms like Boiler Room.
One thing is certain: sherryaeri’s sound is made for booty-shaking, stress release, and letting go of the pressures imposed by capitalist, patriarchal, white dominance.
