The Berlin City Museum Foundation was won as a co-operation partner. The book documents the project with contributions from individuals and civil society organisations, some of whom have been campaigning for decades for a critical reappraisal of colonial injustice. They approach Germany&#8217;s colonial history from multiple perspectives and place a special focus on the history of Black resistance \u2013 on the African continent and in the diaspora. The association helps to increase the visibility and political participation of African and Afro-diasporic people through cultural events, its own &#8220;neighbourhood library&#8221;, youth work and counselling, among other things.
