Built on approximately eight hectares of the historical site, surrounded by gardens and fields, the Museum Village D\u00fcppel displays replicas of homes, storehouses and workshops from the Middle Ages.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"block block-copy\">\n\t<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-7\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since 1995, the open-air museum has been part of the Stadtmuseum Berlin as a place of experience in the countryside. An exhibition in the reception building and various themed stations in the open-air grounds are dedicated to the Middle Ages, also with regard to a more sustainable future. On all opening days there are historical children&#8217;s games , and young and old can try their hand at archery (5 shots for 1 euro). There is also crispy bread on a stick from the open fire (except during the holidays). Please therefore keep your distance from the trees. V., the Middle Ages can be experienced up close here at weekends. Food is cooked in the houses, wood is carved and wool is made into clothing. Medieval crafts are also demonstrated, such as blacksmithing, pottery and bronze casting.
