They include Marlene Dietrich (1901 &#8211; 1992), Kurt Weill (1900 &#8211; 1950), Tilla Durieux (1880 &#8211; 1971) and Bertolt Brecht (1898 &#8211; 1956), among others, all of whom were forced to flee Nazi Germany. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"block block-copy\">\n\t<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-7 col-md-offset-5\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Inspired by the dance performance Die Frau im Taumel des Lasters (The Woman in the Frenzy of Vice) by Valeska Gert (1892 &#8211; 1972), American performer, choreographer and writer Joshua (Jos) McKain responds to the \u201cExile Wall\u201d in this video. An audio portrait featuring Jos can be heard in the \u201cInterconnection\u201d room of BERLIN GLOBAL in which he discusses his connections to Berlin and the world.
