With numerous original objects from the city\u2019s past Berlin is presented in an easily understandable and compact way as a city of diversity and openness, but also as a city of ruptures and radical change.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"block block-copy-hint\">\n\t<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n\t\t<div class=\"block-copy-hint-wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"row\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-2  padding-top-sixth margin-bottom-sixth\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5 class=\"zeplin-subHead05 block-copy-hint-hl\">Background<\/h5>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-xs-12 col-md-8 col-md-offset-1 padding-top-sixth margin-bottom-sixth\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"box\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"copy editor\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The reason for the presentation of \u201cBerlinZEIT\u201d in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stadtmuseum.de\/en\/museum\/museum-ephraim-palais\">Museum Ephraim-Palais<\/a>\u00a0is the comprehensive renovation of the M\u00e4rkisches Museum, the traditional location of the Stadtmuseum Berlin for permanent exhibitions on Berlin\u2019s history, which will take several years.
