Until 6 April, the Stadtmuseum Berlin is showing cinematic perspectives on Berlin around 1990 at the Museum Nikolaikirche. The exhibition catalogue, available as a free download, offers in-depth background information and historical documents relating to the films on display and a period of upheaval that continues to shape Berlin to this day.

35 years after the end of the division of Germany, the Museum Nikolaikirche has dedicated a lm exhibition to the upheavals in Berlin around 1990. Short documentary and artistic lms, as well as excerpts from lm and television, provide rare insight into both the continuities and changes playing out at the time. On 140 pages, the accompanying German/English book combines descriptions of the Films with historical archival material, complemented by artistic works from the collection of the Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin.
