Education and Outreach
More than ever, the Stadtmuseum Berlin seeks dialogue with the people of the city. When planning and preparing exhibitions as well as accompanying programmes, mediation, outreach and participation are becoming increasingly important. This means offering opportunities for participation and creating diverse access points so that as many people as possible can discover something for themselves in the museum.
Whether young or old, whether together as a family, group, school class or as an individual, whether newly arrived or long-established: In events and various formats, the Stadtmuseum Berlin invites everyone to visit and participate. It is also aimed at people who have not yet discovered the museum for themselves.
Together, equal and multi-voiced
The Stadtmuseum Berlin’s programmes offer intergenerational, inclusive and diverse approaches to the themes of the exhibitions and the museums. They promise fun and are an invitation to everyone to explore new things in a pleasant and open atmosphere, to exchange ideas with each other and to linger in a relaxed atmosphere. In the bookable offers, workshops, guided tours, events, participation projects or discourses, people always speak and act together on an equal footing.
