Discover the BerlinZEIT! On the 1st and 2nd floors of the Ephraim-Palais Museum, the exhibition offers you an entertaining tour of discovery through the centuries and at the same time a comprehensive overview of the sometimes revolutionary events in this city. All the senses are engaged: Feel medieval fabrics, smell your way back to 1740, see the original padlock from the Brandenburg Gate and listen to interviews with people who shaped Berlin at the time of reunification.
And that’s not all that awaits you on this day! The special presentation “Berlin Backyards” on the third floor invites you to trace these special urban spaces between past and present. Family tours through the exhibition offer fun for young and old, the museum laboratory is transformed into an instrument-making workshop and a large-scale chess game in front of the museum challenges strategists.
In front of the museum by the steps, the picnic mobile offers refreshing drinks and is a great place to socialise. And that’s not all that awaits you at the Museum Ephraim-Palais! Just a few steps away, our museums Knoblauchhaus and Nikolaikirche also offer even more activities for children and adults.
