What would Berlin and the world look like if young people from Neukölln could shape them?

The children of today are the adults of tomorrow. They are superdiverse, rarely heard, and seldom taken seriously. What changes do they envision, what do they dream of? The young project participants take an unflinching look at their everyday lives, their city, and politics. Based on their experiences, they develop strong demands for justice, freedom of expression, and solidarity – values and resulting actions that are urgently needed in our migration society.

We may be different in many ways, but in the end we are all equal – let’s dance together!

After the Open Space exhibit opens, it is on display for about 18 months as part of BERLIN GLOBAL.

The Open Spaces

The Open Spaces are three areas of the exhibition BERLIN GLOBAL developed by initiatives, organizations and independent groups. The aim is to increase visibility of perspectives on Berlin’s past and present that have not received sufficient representation in museums and exhibitions – including BERLIN GLOBAL. The projects are selected by an independent jury and developed and implemented over a period of 12 months in cooperation with the Stadtmuseum Berlin. Afterwards, the exhibition is on display at BERLIN GLOBAL for about 18 months.
