Berlin Courtyards
Accompanying the special presentation ‘Berlin Courtyards’ on the 3rd floor of the Ephraim-Palais Museum, the Stadtmuseum Berlin is once again calling on people to take part in its participatory project ‘Berlin jetzt!’ (Berlin now). All photography enthusiasts are invited to send in their personal perspectives on Berlin’s courtyards.

Show us the diverse faces of Berlin’s courtyards! Because courtyards are not just turning areas for the fire brigade, not just car parks or rubbish dumps. They are also places of work, of everyday life, of activity and relaxation, places of community where people meet, play together or come together to protest. Send us your photographs in which you have captured the Berlin courtyards of today and thus also a piece of the essence and attitude to life in Berlin!
No matter whether you take photos as a hobby, are a professional or are just discovering your passion for photography: Your perspectives on the diversity of Berlin’s courtyards are important to us. That’s why we invite you to share your impressions with us up until 1 July 2025. Submitted photos will be published on the Stadtmuseum Berlin website. Selected submissions will also be shown in the special presentation ‘Berliner Höfe’.
