The Waisenbrücke bridge

As part of the Allianz Neue Waisenbrücke, the Stadtmuseum Berlin is advocating for the construction of a new pedestrian and cycling bridge where the historic Waisenbrücke once stood. This bridge would make an important contribution to mobility transition and sustainable transport in Berlin.

Allianz Neue Waisenbrücke is a joint initiative of the Betroffenenvertretung (BV) for the redevelopment area Nördliche Luisenstadt and the Stadtmuseum Berlin.
It is supported by a broad alliance, including among others Bürgerverein Luisenstadt e. V., Historischer Hafen Berlin e. V., Bund für Umwelt und Naturschutz Deutschland e. V. (BUND), Changing Cities e. V., Planungsgruppe Stadtkern des Bürgerforums Berlin e. V., Verein der Freunde und Förderer des Stadtmuseums Berlin e. V..
