On the occasion of the WELTSTUDIO special at BERLIN GLOBAL, a guided tour through the exhibitions "After Nature" and BERLIN GLOBAL uses select examples to shed light on how maps are used to create and consolidate power structures and world views.

Whizzing through BERLIN GLOBAL: Each room promises a new view of Berlin and the world, shared ideas and fun!

In 60 minutes, you can turn the “Wheel of History”, dance inside a giant disco ball or discover local history through telescopes in the windows of the Humboldt Forum. The tour opens up a dialogue with visitors through an interactive experience of global dynamics in historical and contemporary Berlin.

To mark the 175th anniversary of the March Revolution of 1848, BERLIN GLOBAL invites you to a conversation on the diversity of opinions during the revolutions of 1848 and 1989/90.

How should we look back on historical revolutions from today’s perspective? To commemorate the 175th anniversary of the March Revolution of 1848, writer Ewa Maria Slaska and artist and activist Anna Krenz will look at revolutions from a Polish and feminist perspective at BERLIN GLOBAL.

Since politics discovered the Spree Island as a location, i.e. for about 555 years, there has also been resistance against these rulers and impulses for change. A curator from the “History of the Place” department offers a guided tour on the topic of revolution and transformation especially for the “Weekend for Democracy”.

Together with the historian and director of the Berlin Sports Museum, Veronika Springmann, we take a look at the history of the origins of sport for people with disabilities at BERLIN GLOBAL.

Lutz Marx and Tim Hartung from Kunstwerkstatt Kreuzberg show selected favourite objects in BERLIN GLOBAL. Both share personal experiences of historical events and their view of the exhibition.
