Event
Duration
4h

We will show you the current status of the museum and creative quarter at Köllnischer Park and creatively advocate for the reconstruction of the Waisenbrücke in front of the Märkisches Museum.

Together with comic artist Aisha Franz, we will create a huge banner – and you can join in! Get your portrait drawn, sketch along, or enjoy the creative flow with DJ Femdelic, who will provide summery funky vibes.
Exchange ideas with us over table tennis and gelato about the future project of the Stadtmuseum Berlin. In the creative ping-pong between the Marinehaus cultural centre and the Märkisches Museum, the museum and creative quarter is being developed.

We look forward to seeing you!

Programme

16:00 – 20:00 | Gelato, Beats & Comic

Create your neighbourhood in a giant banner!
What will our neighbourhood at Köllnischer Park look like in five years? What does neighbourhood mean to you?

Together with Aisha Franz and other comic artists, we will create a huge 5 × 6 m community artwork that will be displayed on site. The special feature: you can immortalise yourself on the banner or have your portrait drawn by the comic professionals! You can take your personal comic portrait home with you. DJ Femdelic will provide the groovy sounds for the creative atmosphere.

18:00 – 21:00 | Waisenbrückentag × Fête de la Musique

We are advocating for the reconstruction of the historic Waisenbrücke as a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. It should connect Rolandufer at Molkenmarkt with Märkisches Ufer. From 18:00, a diverse music programme awaits you with acts from the Fanny Hensel Music School – as well as contributions to the future of the neighbourhood.

Together, we will celebrate our created giant artwork!
