Past, present and future: much of what happens in Berlin has an impact on the world. And much of what happens in the world affects Berlin. BERLIN GLOBAL, an exhibition on 4,000 square metres of space, shows how the city and its people are connected with the world. Located on the first floor above ground of the Humboldt Forum, the exhibition will present Berlin as part of a world that is interconnected in many different ways. It will show how the city, its people and the events it launched have changed the world. And conversely, how global events – both past and present – have affected Berlin.

International Museum Day

International Museum Day will take place for the 47th time in 2024. Proclaimed annually by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) on 18 May, it will be celebrated in Germany this year on the third Sunday of the month. The aim of the day of action is to draw attention to museums and invite people to discover their diversity.
