Event
Duration
8h

On the first and second floor of the Museum Ephraim-Palais, the exhibition offers an entertaining discovery tour through the centuries and at the same time a comprehensive overview of the sometimes revolutionary events in this city.

Feel medieval fabrics, smell your way back to 1740, see the original padlock from the Brandenburg Gate and listen to interviews with people who shaped Berlin at the time of reunification. Along the way, you will encounter the oldest remains of a Berlin domestic pig and a plague doctor.

International Museum Day will take place for the 47th time in 2024. Proclaimed annually by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) on 18 May, it will be celebrated in Germany this year on the third Sunday of the month. The aim of the day of action is to draw attention to museums and invite people to discover their diversity.
