Find out how the Berlin merchant family Knoblauch lived here around two hundred years ago in an authentic location and in rooms furnished true to the original. How did they earn their money? Where did they cook? And is it true that the scholar Alexander von Humboldt was often a guest here?
The exhibition Everyday Live in Biedermeier Berlin provides in-depth background information about the residents of the house, their famous guests and the era between the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815 and the revolutionary events of 1848.
