For the second year running, WELTSTUDIO at BERLIN GLOBAL will transform into a space for inspiring stories, creative ideas and genuine connections on International Women⁺’s Day.
Whether young or old, big or small – everyone is invited to come together, exchange ideas and network, showing how women⁺ and girls⁺ shape the world.

WELTSTUDIO | 11 – 16.30
In WELTSTUDIO
We’ll be decorating fabric bags with personal messages and creating your own buttons to take home. On a giant Berlin map, we’ll work together to create an artwork. Using Post-its, modelling clay, Lego and stickers, visitors of all ages will make visible the places, paths and stories of women⁺ and girls⁺.
Facilitators will be on hand in multiple languages. Families with young children can enjoy a cosy lounge with crawling and play areas.
Workshop: Your voice matters! Start your own podcast
12:15–13:00 + 13:15–14:00
In the Media Studios at BERLIN GLOBAL, journalist and facilitator Ulrike Werner will show how podcasts, radio features and audio plays are created – from storytelling and technology to recording. Hands-on practice included!
Meeting point: 15 minutes before the start, WELTSTUDIO (Rolling Cartographer)

In the WELTSTUDIO workshop area, Zeren Oruc and Lea Nassim Tajbakhsh from Flamingo e.V. invite you to explore healing plants and tea cultures from Iran, Afghanistan and Kurdistan. Together, we’ll create tea blends that will be shared in solidarity with the herbal pharmacy of the association “Hekayat”.
Open to all ages – just drop by!
