Imagine you were an urban planner. What would you do? Would you design high-rise buildings covered with climbing plants? Would you develop all of Tempelhofer Feld? How about installing giant hammocks throughout the city?

As part of the Open Space “We’re staying! Gentrification and Resistance in Berlin”, the WELTSTUDIO invites visitors to engage with the cityscape of today and dream up the cityscape of tomorrow.

There’s something for everyone here: chat with the Open Space’s curators, join them in building a giant communal sculpture, design small boxes with made-up cityscapes and colourful silhouettes, or send postcards of your favourite places in Berlin.

Children can listen to stories from the book In einem alten Haus in Berlin (“In an Old House in Berlin”) in BERLIN GLOBAL’s cosy lounge and anyone who is interested can try their hand at urban sketching.

Blind and visually impaired visitors are also very welcome.
