Explore one of Berlin’s last residential buildings from the Biedermeier period! At the authentic location and in rooms furnished true to the original, you will learn how the Berlin merchant family Knoblauch lived here around two hundred years ago. The permanent exhibition provides in-depth background information about the residents of the house, famous guests and the era between the end of the Napoleonic Wars in 1815 and the revolutionary events of 1848.

International Museum Day will take place for the 47th time in 2024. Proclaimed annually by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) on 18 May, it will be celebrated in Germany this year on the third Sunday of the month. The aim of the day of action is to draw attention to museums and invite people to discover their diversity.
