On 7 October 2023, the current conflict in Israel and Gaza began – with far-reaching consequences for society. How can we talk about this complex issue without becoming entrenched or falling silent? The Trialogue Project, initiated by Jouanna Hassoun and Shai Hoffmann, invites us to tackle this challenge together.
BERLIN GLOBAL and “Gesellschaft im Wandel” (Society in Transition) are opening a space for dialogue: ask your questions, listen to different perspectives, and engage in conversation with others.
The Trialogue hosts, Lili Zahavi and Zakariyya Meißner, will guide the discussion. Both are personally affected by the conflict and bring Israeli and Palestinian identities into the trialogue. They consciously create space for questions and views that often remain unspoken – and work with you to find answers.
The audience is the third voice in the trialogue: invited to reflect, ask questions, and actively participate. It’s about political dimensions, prejudice and uncertainty, about hope and democracy. The trialogue offers a safe framework where different perspectives can be heard and understood.
